The traditional music band “RUOTE” was born in 1996.

It comes from a group of ethnographic investigation in which their members have been working since 1991. It is integrated by five people, and it shows a repertoire that represents the four Galician provinces.

For this reason they use several instruments such as two bag-pipes, a button accordion, drums, tambourines and other less known percussion such as shells, a triangle, cans, and of course, their main instrument is their voice.

Their different vocal timbre  both male and female, help our ears to travel in time and along the multiple Galician villages and towns.
